My Story
Hi I’m Zoey Belton!
In 2017, I married with the belief that my life would be perfect. I envisioned a flawless marriage and a beautiful baby girl. However, the reality was far from this dream as abuse started and quickly escalated. The stress from this tumultuous period affected my health, leading to infertility issues and more. The only solace I found was in making our home “look perfect” through decor styling and design – the one thing I could control. In 2019, I decided enough was enough. I cried out to God, asking Him why I was enduring such pain. He revealed to me that by helping others create homes filled with love, peace, serenity, and calm, I would also be helping them find their strength and safety.
In 2020, after leaving my abusive marriage and getting divorced, I sought guidance from God on what to name this vision. I clearly heard Him say, “If you were to ever have a daughter, what would her name be?” The answer was “Gracyn Rae.” God told me this project would be my baby, and so, I named my business Gracyn Rae Home.
Painting became my therapy, guiding me through the darkest times. People loved my paintings and began asking to buy them. I continued to paint, inscribing spirit-led messages on the back of each piece. For every painting sold, I donate a percentage to a local shelter for victims of domestic violence. My mission is to help everyone turn their home into a sanctuary of calm, peace, and happiness, whether through unique objects or bespoke artwork.
